Mending Memories for PDA Families is located in Wellington Point, QLD.
However, most services are provided online.
Home visits & location visits are an option within a 20km radius of Wellington Point.
The Support group for Parents of PDA Kids & Teens is held in Woolloongabba.
I provide services on Monday - Thursday during school hours.
Fees
PDA Parent Coaching
Book a session whenever you need it. No need to commit on an ongoing basis. Whatever fits your schedule!
Sessions are $ 290.99,- for a 90-minute session.
EMDR Therapy Services
EMDR Therapy needs a bit more commitment compared to coaching. To ensure your safety we can't start with processing memories immediately. EMDR Therapy includes an important preparation phase, however we can be flexible with how often we see each other to ensure it still fits in your schedule and to make it affordable. Just contact me to see what is possible.
Sessions are $290.99 for a 90-minute session.
Advocacy support

- Preparation sessions: $ 193.99 per 60-minute session or $290.99 per 90-minute session
- School meeting: $193.99 for the first hour (or a part thereof) and $49.50 per 15-minute block (or a part thereof)
- Travel time is charged at the rate of $49.50 per 15 minutes travel time.
Parenting PDA Kids & Teens Support Group
I run a support group for parents in Brisbane (Woolloongabba) on a bi-monthly basis starting in April.
The group is held on a Friday night from 6pm - 8pm. The number of attendees is cut off at 12 people.
The Support group is run on a voluntary basis. Mending Memories for PDA Families organises food and drinks for dinner which is included in the price.
Support Group cost is $25,-.

Rebates & Funding options
There are different ways your sessions can be (partially) funded. Options include: Medicare Better Access, Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC), NDIS, Work Cover Queensland, the National Redress Scheme, Victim Assist Queensland & some Health Funds. Please find more information about rebates and funding below.
Medicare
- Anyone can receive a rebate under the Medicare Better Access scheme of $87.25 for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year for therapy services only. You will need a mental health treatment plan & referral letter from your GP.
- You can receive a rebate under Medicare Enhanced Primary Care for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. You will need a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP.
Mending Memories for PDA Families requires payment of your session ($193.99) on the day of your appointment via credit card payment. Your Medicare rebate will be automatically processed as soon as your appointment finishes and you will receive the rebate in your account within 24 hours.
NDIS
Sessions can be funded through your NDIS package if you are self-managed or plan-managed. We are not an NDIS registered provider.
I provide therapy/training services under the following line item: 15_621_0128_3 - Social Worker | Therapeutic Supports. The fee is $193.99,- per 60 minutes session.
I can organise payments directly with the plan manager.
Private Health insurance
Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are acknowledged by Teacher's Health Fund, Nurses & Midwives fund, Bupa & Medibank for rebates for therapy sessions.
I require payment of your session ($193.99) on the day of your appointment via credit card payment. You can then use the receipt to claim from your private health fund.
Work Cover Queensland
I am a Registered provider with Work Cover Queensland.You need approval from your insurer to receive free services under Work Cover.
Victim Assist
I can provide free services to victims of a violent crime.
I can organise payments directly with Victim Services.
The National Redress Scheme
I provide free services to people under the National Redress Scheme.
